We are located on the banks of the Yellowstone River. The river forms the north boundary of Yellowstone National Park and the views into the heart of the Gallatin Range and its highest peak, Electric, are stunning anytime of the year. Yellowstone National Park isn't just a national treasure - it's our backyard. Antelope, elk, bison, bear and deer have wandered through our yard - much to the surprise of some of our guests! Osprey and eagles frequent this stretch of river. Wildflowers are in full bloom by mid-summer.
World-class flyfishing is a few steps away and the beach is a great place to read, build castles (we provide the toys!) and enjoy the quiet solitude. The campfire near the river has roasted marshmallows for many. The manicured lawns are just asking for Frisbee, croquet and cartwheels. Horseshoe pits and tetherball are perfect for those of you who just can't sit still!
Hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, birdwatching, photographing wildlife, swimming, kayaking, flyfishing and all the wonders of Yellowstone are readily available. See the Planning Your Trip link for more information about charting your own Yellowstone adventure.
We are 50 miles south of Livingston, Montana just off Highway 89 between mile markers 3 and 4. The north entrance of Yellowstone and the historic gateway community of Gardiner, Montana are three miles to the south. Gardiner provides basic services to our guests with a grocery store, post offices, several restaurants, gift shops, laundry and internet cafes. We'd be happy to make recommendations!
